Career Strategies for Women and
People of Color

Organizations in the US that want the best talent need to recruit, retain and fully develop women and people of color. But even high potential managers need more than intelligence and expertise to succeed at the upper levels. Subtle forces come into play that may hinder progress and tend to be more prevalent for women and people of color. Career strategy training provides the "extras" they need to achieve success. The benefits to the organization include decreased turnover and maximized performance of high potential diverse employees, increased representation of women and people of color at senior levels, a substantial additional component to the diversity initiative. This program serves as excellent complement to employee development, mentoring and succession planning strategies.

Key Objectives - Participants will:

  • Learn to identify and handle the special challenges facing women and people of color
  • Take better control of their career paths, including navigating the "informal system"
  • Learn from experiences of successful role models
